Default FXDD was a Very poor experience all round.

Good broker with good spreads. Been with them for 21 months and no major issues. Paypal deposits take upto 5 working days. Apart from the connection errors I can't fault them much. Hey, brokers are no angels. Live support is good overall. I give them 4 stars as there is always room for improvement
Recommended Very poor experience all round. I used a 4 pip max deviation and re-quotes were terrible even with small positions and at quiet times. You don't expect 2-3 requotes where price has moved with 1 pip and you have a 4 pip max deviation. Getting funds out via the paypal option that they say they have has also been very, very slow and still waiting.
It was a toss up between a 1 and 2 rating.

Default some of the concerns with fxdd

've been looking at different brokers for a while now. I sent $10,000 to forex.com (Gain) and fortunately got it back before they created the account. I've looked with interet at the negative feedback here on FXDD. I also spoke with FXDD and asked about some of the concerns. With regards to Paypal, if you fund your account through paypal, they will only let you withdraw through paypal. If you fund with a debit card, they fund to your debit card. You can't fund with one source and then ask to get paid via another source. The complaints about getting stopped out or not getting a deposit in in time to beat a margin call are just stupid. I would worry if a broker let my account go to $0 before making a margin call. If you did any practice trading, you should have been familiar with the margin calls, regardless of the account balance. And trying to get a deposit in before a margin call?!? Isn't that throwing good money after bad? As far as regulation, they do have an application in with the NFA. I know, I looked it up. But you can't put FXDD into the search bar. You have to put in FX Direct Dealer or FX Dealer Direct (I forget which one) and it shows that their application is pending. Customer service spent over a half hour today just answering the multitude of questions I raised after reading all these reviews. I left feeling very comfortable, and the spreads I'm seeing on the demo account are awesome! A couple of times on the EURUSD the bid and ask were the same! Anyway, just my 2 cents worth. And no, I am not an employee of FXDD. Very poor experience all round. I used a 4 pip max deviation and re-quotes were terrible even with small positions and at quiet times. You don't expect 2-3 re quotes where price has moved with 1 pip and you have a 4 pip max deviation.

Default I funded my account with $250 and got it to $2000 quick

I understand the games that are played by brokers... but I funded my account with $250 and got it to $2000 quick, I modify stops a lot and in the beginning everything was very fast but sure enough things got slower and slower and then some started not even going through 60 seconds later.... after this I had to modify my strategy and wound up just closing. In having 2 live accounts running side by side you can really see any discrepancies. I don't know how they do it but on some trades you can blatantly see price manipulation to stop you out on FXDD where as not on the other broker,

Default My beed and issues with fxdd.com and my EA trading bot

In having 2 live accts running side by side you can really see any discrepancies. I dont know how they do it but on some trades you can blatantly see price manupilation to stop you out on FXDD where as not on the other broker,
LIVE ACCOUNT HERE!

GUYS HAVE YOU SEEN THE SPREAD ON THE EURO/GBP LATELY
I TRADE WITH AN EXPERT ADVISOR ON THE EURO/GBP DURING THE ASIAN SESSION, BESIDE THE 15 TO 20 PIPS SPREAD , MY EA WAS NOT WORKING, AND I WAS WONDERING WHY, THEN I TRIED TO CHANGE MY MAGIC NUMBER, AND GUESS WHAT....... YEAH THE EA STARTED TO WORK, IT SEEMS THEY BANNED THE EA MAGIC NUMBER, IN ORDER NOT TO WORK

THEN AFTER BEING TRICKY AND CHANGED THE MAGIC NUMBER, I AM STARTING TO GET OFF QUOTES, EVEN THAT THE PRICE IS MOVING IN FRONT OF MY EYES, AND EACH TIME I WANT TO OPEN A TRADE MANUALLY OR BY THE EA, IT DOESN'T OPEN IT SIMPLY SAYS OFF QUOTES,
AND IN CASE YOU GET LUCKY AND YOU OPEN THE TRADE, THERE IS A RISK THAT YOU CANNOT CLOSE IT, AS YOU ARE GETTING OFF QUOTES
SO IN ONE OPEN TRADE, I HAD TO CALL TO THE USA, TO CLOSE IT BY PHONE.

THOSE PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO MANIPULATE AND AFFECT THE EA PERFORMANCE, EVEN THAT THEY SHOULD SIT AS A GOOD BOY IF THEY ARE PLANNING TO GET THEIR NFA LICENSE FINALLY.

SO I WAS JUST WONDERING IF NOW THE STUFF IS GETTING TRICKY, I WONDER IN CASE THE NFA REJECTS THEM WHAT WILL HAPPEN, I GUESS WE WILL SEE MORE CLEAR GAMES.

GOOD LUCK U ALL
