No risky trades or excessive use of margin was required to achieve it either. I couldn't have joined a better service. I had one loss...because of my own stupidity. Tournaments Joined: 0 Tournament Wins: 0 | | ProFXI and canceled my subscription after a few months because of terrible drawdown I was a subscriber of the « old » ProFXI and canceled my subscription after a few months because of terrible drawdown (calls in the 1.50’s). I came back one month ago when I heard Moderator became the head trader and things really changed : intraday calls, we make between 250 and 400 pips by week and no more drawdown. If you are afraid, you have a a full money back guarantee if the team doesn’t reach 200 pips of profit in the 10 first days of the month....I really don’t regret to give us a second chance ! |

Tournaments Joined: 0 Tournament Wins: 0 | | maybe fxpro is run by a bunch of losers! "Lastly, I am wondering why Dale, as a member and reviewer, did not post anything while this site was going so wrong. I would have liked to have seen a review with the current one being a follow up on their improvement."
Well, Beth here is my explanation to your inquiry. During the old Profxi tenure when Cisco was destroying the service I too lost money on the drawdowns. I had decided to cancel my subscription to the service and e-mailed administration to not renew my subscription for the new month. I also was planning on writing a review at the time detailing my disatisfication, but when the owner of the site fired Cisco and promoted Moderator as the head trader giving him complete control of the trading, I decided to hold off. The reason I held off was that Moderator was posting his own trade calls 2 weeks prior to Cisco's departure and they were all winners. I did not like Cisco's style of trading and preferred Moderator's intraday style better and decided to stay with the service. As you can see that was a wise decision if you look at the performance the past 6 weeks.
I am a person who is an optomist and believes in Karma and positive energy. I try to refrain from giving into negative energy, and am glad I did not post my negative review at that time since it all turned around at that moment.
I understand your frushtration Beth and you are entititled to your feelings, but I would like to extend the invitation for you to reconsider coming back and trading with our family. Many of the former members such as yourself are now coming back and seeing the difference of the new Profxi and replacing the funds lost under Cisco's direction. Many people are extremely satisfied with the service and agree it is now what everyone originally hoped it to be. |

Tournaments Joined: 0 Tournament Wins: 0 | | you won't be disappointed. Well, what an experience it's been. First and foremost I must say that up until I joined FXInsights and ProFXI I was a trader that was consistently losing in this market. Than I heard about a group that was just starting out (FXInsights) that provided a free EUR/USD signal so I decided to check them out. I joined the group and started testing their signal. To my surprise 10 out of 10 winning trades some with some drawdown but not to bad. I than started trading with real money and became a consistent winner. I had to get used to the drawdown but with their guidance they showed me how to use this DD with proper money management to make even more pips from where the signal was triggered. I couldn't believe it, from consistently losing trades to almost 95% winning. I would have been 100% if I didn't lose my nerve on a couple of trades, but I was using proper money management so I was OK.
I went to one of their free seminars (2nd one) to learn more about their trading techniques and believe me I learned allot and it was free. Just had to pay to get there and hotel and food.
I than joined their paid site ProFXI. It was profitable for me in the beginning, but to be honest I had allot of trouble following Cisco's (than head trader) trading style. But the point is I was profitable and making far more $ than the $200/mo. fee they were charging.
Than, things went wrong. Extreme drawdown and consistently losing trades due to the seemingly haphazard way Cisco seemed to trade. He didn't like to answer any questions without a bit of a temper tantrum. So I stopped trading just to watch and see if things would turn around. Just as I was about to pull the plug and leave this group Cisco was fired and Mod was put in as head trader. This was the guy I learned the most from since the beginning because he took the time to teach his trading techniques and explains things in a way that’s very easy to understand and learn. Well I'm glad I didn't leave this group because since Mod has become the head trader I'm back into profitability again in a big way.
This is a great group of traders with a great leader and I highly recommend trying them out, you won't be disappointed. |

Tournaments Joined: 0 Tournament Wins: 0 | | this group is phony and a fraud! a lot of relevant points of already been made regarding this sight which replaced "FX Insights". there were lots of confusing aspects regarding the trading styles of the "traders" etc. and you generally do receive extremely harsh responses from the "traders" if you ask questions which could bring their strategies into question.
my time in the chat room and reading the forums unfortunately exposed the harsh reality of forex trading. a lot of people who don't have the slightest idea about the markets who invest a tremendous amount of money into an account, looking for a easy way to get rich. unfortunately, life just isn't as easy as that. i give the "traders" at fx insights credit in that they at least did attempt to educate people with some basics about market fundamentals and why markets sometimes react the ways they do. the fx knowledge the traders possess can be obtained by anyone who takes the time to read a few books. all their insights into the market are taken from various books, websites etc. sometimes they'll talk about something "fancy" (i.e. libor) but if you really ask them detailed questions you won't get far.
one thing i always found suspect regarding pro fxi and fx insights is that for traders who apparently are "the best in the industry" and who claim to manage accounts well into the high six figures why would they be using retail forex brokers??? i guess the point i'm trying to make is that if these guys were as good as they claimed to be and managed the amounts of money they claim to they wouldn't be using retail fx platforms for the a variety of reasons (slippage, company reliability, investor protection etc.) they'd have the real fx platforms that REAL forex traders use. i asked that question once in the chat and got booted out. but you have to wonder...
at the end of the day, they are another fx signal company trying to make profits from the average joe. there's nothing wrong with that, far too much blame gets put on the providers of these services when the blame should sometimes (not always) be put on the people that pay for them, the biggest problem with retail fx trading is the majority of people thinking this will be the magic way you'll become a millionaire and quit your job to trade from home.
i will disclaim my post by saying that I do not pay for the pro FXI service and never will. But what've I've seen off the website and the comments read here the site is basically the same as the free FX Insights sight which mysteriously disappeared except your paying for it. I found the old FX Insights more intriguing than helpful, you were seeing thousands of people signing up, visiting trading seminars, following blindly the advice of market experts. it was a fascinating insight to how desperate so many people are to be successful in fx trading. |

Tournaments Joined: 0 Tournament Wins: 0 | | I recently rejoined this service after a 3 month hiatus. I lost alot of money with the Cisco ProFXI but that was then and now that Mod is running the show things are much better.
First off I want to comment on how much more professional it is operated. The results are updated quickly and there are no more phantom accts that are shown to subscribers. The chat room is now alot friendlier and more inviting. The old room was tense and people did not like to ask questions. The pips are consistent to say the least, without the huge draw downs of the past. The daily updates are in-depth and give us traders an insight into what Mod is thinking and seeing in the markets. The money back guarantee is nice too.
Overall a marked improvement and I hope things continue in this direction. Good work Mod and all that got ProFXI to where it is today. |

Tournaments Joined: 0 Tournament Wins: 0 | | I think I can help clear up some of the withdrawal issues and concerns that exist re. FxPro. First, in my experience, they are NOT a scam, but just unbelievably stupid in how they don't clearly explain their withdrawal policies and procedures.
My experience: I deposited first through paypal, then through my debit card. When I went to withdraw through debit card, I got a rather rude email saying "transaction declined." Oh no, I thought, here we go; my money is in Cyprus and is probably gone now. However, through several arduous online chats and emails I finally had it all explained to me, and I have now gotten my entire original deposit back, plus a lot of profits as well with no problem.
Here's how it works: if you deposit $2000 with a debit/credit card, you have to first withdraw EXACTLY $2000 via the same credit card before they will do any other withdrawals for you. For example, if you request a withdrawal of $1900 on your debit card, you'll get the "transaction declined" email. Apparently this due to some credit card procedure/rule. When you deposit money through a card, it appears as a "purchase" at FxPro. When you withdraw, it appears as a "refund" from FxPro. I guess the amounts have to match exactly for that reason. So if you deposit through a card $100, then $1500, then $750, etc., you must do 3 seperate withdrawals of exactly $100, $1500, then $750.
After all the card withdrawals are done (meaning you've withdrawn by card the exact amount you deposited with a card), then you can withdraw by Paypal or bank wire, but not until then.
So, is it a scam? No, not at all. Should someone at FxPro be fired for making it so freaking complicated? Yes, absolutely. There must be some marketing guy, or Page Ranking director there, but my goodness they are not doing their job well at all. One page on their website detailing all these withdrawal procedures and rules, or one email once you open an account doing the same, and they'd have a lot fewer confused and pissed off people.
So anyway, I hope that clears up a few things. You can and do get your money. Like I said, I have withdrawn my original deposit, plus a healthy sum of profits. They just need to take some serious business classes on marketing, Page Ranking, and communicating well with customers.
Now to trading. Degree of slippage and requotes are generally unacceptable to me. Far more than FXDD for example. And their spreads have gotten a lot worse. They went from fixed to floating. Of course they advertise floating spreads as some kind of great thing, but it's just an excuse for them to raise the spread whenever they want.
I will keep my account open, but will be trading there much less. I have several broker accounts anyway. But mainly wanted to offer my withdrawal experience in hopes it may ease some minds out there...best wishes.
I submitted my withdrawal request 3 days ago but no one is processing the request yet. I encountered "withdrawal is declined" several times as the fxpro website never clearly informed customers about the withdrawal rules. I have the impression that they tried to delay the withdrawal payments and let customer faced various withdrawal problems. I have an email reply from accounting confirmed that I can withdraw profits by Bank Wire even I never use Bank Wire to deposit before. But when I made a Bank Wire withdraw request, I got rejected due to "you need to withdrawal with the same method you deposited". That means each person in the accounting dept has their own ways of handling the request and there is no standard rule. Their withdrawal service certainly is below professional standard, even their rejection email looks amateur.
I am very disappointed with FX Pro. They anounce on their website that their spreads are between 0.5 and 2 pips on the EURGBP pair, but the reality is much different, with spreads as high as 4 1/2 pips on this pair. They will always win their discussions, because they have the terms and conditions as an excuse to do whatever they feel like it and not treat their clients with integrity. Very bad operating policies for traders. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
